If you’re exploring options for your young person, now is the time to start the conversation.
BlendED Queensland supports young people in Years 7–9 (from Term 3 2026) whose access to traditional schooling has been disrupted by exclusion, anxiety, trauma or mental health challenges.
Young people do not need a formal diagnosis or referral. We welcome all young people who could benefit from a flexible, relationship-first learning environment.
BlendED combines flexible online learning with in-person support from teachers, youth workers and allied health professionals. This allows students to re-engage with learning at a pace that feels safe and achievable.
Every class at BlendED Queensland will be led by a teaching partnership — a teacher and youth worker working side by side to support each young person’s learning and wellbeing.
Our youth workers will also provide outreach support, maintaining consistent connection and care wherever young people feel most comfortable.
This dual staffing model ensures wraparound support and strong connection between online and in-person experiences.
Every young person has an Individual Learning Plan (ILP), co-designed with them and their parents, guardians and support network. The ILP guides academic, social and wellbeing goals.
We offer regular, low-pressure in-person gatherings designed to help young people build confidence, routine, and peer connection. Activities are inclusive, engaging, and designed to feel safe and welcoming.
We are also offering a small in-person program at our Nudgee location for young people in Year 9 who would benefit from a structured, supportive on-site environment alongside their online learning.
BlendED National is fully registered as a Special Assistance School in Queensland.*
*Subject to regulatory requirements.
We regularly host online information sessions for families who would like to learn more about BlendED Queensland. These sessions provide an overview of the program, enrolment process, and an opportunity to ask questions.
BlendED Queensland enrols young people from across the entire state. Wherever there is a need, we will work with families to build connection, support and community.
