We partner with parents, carers and guardians to help young people re-engage with learning — even when school feels impossible.
We understand School Can’t — when traditional school settings no longer feel safe, accessible or workable for a young person. BlendED provides a gentle, supported pathway back into learning, offering stability, connection and a model that adapts to each young person’s needs, capacity and circumstances.
We walk alongside families with patience and unconditional positive regard, helping young people re‑engage in a way that feels safe, predictable, and achievable.
Parents and carers play an active role in your young person’s Individual Learning Plan (ILP). We take time to understand strengths, challenges, interests and goals, ensuring learning feels achievable and meaningful.
Every household communicates differently. We adapt to your needs, whether you prefer regular check-ins, email updates, texts or scheduled phone calls. Our goal is always clarity, consistency and genuine partnership.
Support happens across online learning, in-person gatherings, home visits and local community-based engagement. Parents and carers are welcome to participate in ways that feel comfortable and sustainable.
Our staff work gently, consistently and without judgement. Safety, trust and belonging guide everything we do — for young people and for parents, carers and guardians.
You’ll receive ongoing updates about engagement, wellbeing and academic progress, with opportunities to review goals and celebrate wins.
BlendED National is fully funded by the government. Devices, internet access, gatherings, excursions and activities are all provided free of charge, so no young person misses out on the opportunity to learn.
